Melissa received her Juris Doctor degree from Western New England University School of Law, and her Bachelor or Arts degree from Hood College. Melissa has been with Brogan Law Group since 2023. Melissa exhibits a strong passion for the legal field and a profound desire to make a positive impact in the lives of individuals and families.

As part of Melissa’s academic journey, she is currently pursuing an LL.M. in Elder Law and Estate Planning, also at Western New England University, with an anticipated graduation date of May 2025. This specialized focus demonstrates Melissa’s commitment to understanding the intricate and evolving dynamics of this crucial area of law, which will undoubtedly prove invaluable to our clients seeking guidance in planning for their futures and safeguarding their legacies.

Melissa earned a bachelor's degree in Law and Criminal Justice and Political Science, from Hood College, with Honors. This multidisciplinary background has equipped her with a well-rounded understanding of the intersection between law, governance, and justice, which guides her approach to legal research, analysis, and problem-solving.

Prior to joining our team, Melissa was a judicial extern for the Honorable Robert T. Santaniello, Associate Justice of the Springfield District Court in Springfield, Massachusetts. Melissa has also held legal extern position with the Springfield Court Service Center, as well as Community Legal Aid, also in Springfield, Massachusetts. At the Court Service Center, Melissa assisted pro se litigants navigate the court system, as well as complete and gather all of the forms and documentation necessary for their individual legal matters. At Community Legal Aid, Melissa was a student practitioner (Mass. SJC Rule 3.03) and her focus was in the Education Unit, as well as the Disability Protection Unit. She provided assistance to and advocated for families to ensure the child student received appropriate education services. Melissa also gained valuable knowledge surrounding the intricacies of the Social Security Administration.

With a firm grasp of legal principles and a genuine empathy for the needs of our diverse clientele, Melissa is a diligent and detail-oriented professional. She is adept at conducting thorough legal research, drafting persuasive legal documents, and providing comprehensive support to our firm.

  • AMAZING!! I had a particularly challenging Medicaid application for my father and Bob was all in on helping me through the process. He was honest, transparent, personable, and genuine. He even referred to a colleague when dealing with a different challenge that was outside the application process who would not take a dime!
