Michael Charles Paxton is an experienced attorney whose legal career spans more than three decades. He brings broad experience across multiple areas of law, offering practical guidance and skilled representation to clients throughout New Jersey.
Michael began practicing law in 1989 and is a member of both the New Jersey and New York State Bars. Over the years, he has developed a strong and diverse legal background that supports the firm’s estate planning and elder law practice. His experience includes civil litigation, real estate matters, zoning and land use, workers’ compensation, and personal injury law. This wide range of experience allows him to approach each client’s situation with a well-rounded legal perspective and the ability to anticipate potential challenges before they arise.
In addition to his private practice, Michael has served in important public roles. He has acted as Assistant Township Attorney, providing legal counsel on municipal matters, and has served as assistant attorney to a municipal planning board. He has also provided legal counsel to public boards and educational institutions. These roles strengthened his understanding of how government and regulatory systems operate, which can be valuable in complex legal matters.
Michael earned his Juris Doctor from Syracuse University College of Law in 1988. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate studies at Monmouth College, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1985.
